Common Dental Emergencies are:
It’s important to understand that having your dental work done on an emergency basis only is not ideal. After your concern has been addressed we encourage our Emergency patients to come in for a comprehensive new patient exam. It is always better to stay on top of your dental care than tending to problems that arise on an emergency basis when most can be prevented.
Our team at Abby Dental Care will ask you a series of questions that will help us determine and treat your problem such as; is the area hot or cold sensitive, are you taking any medication to control the pain, is it throbbing or a dull ache etc. Our CDAs will take the necessary diagnostic tests, which may include an x-ray of the area with photographs. Although we cannot guarantee completed treatment on the same day, we will definitely be able to get you comfortable and out of any pain or discomfort that you may be experiencing. Some emergent situations require a lengthier procedure, or a series of appointments to fully treat the problem and our team will aim to relieve the immediate pain or concern to achieve comfort until we can give you the time required for proper care.
If a referral to a specialist within our community is required, our administration team will work with you, and their office on your behalf, to have them see you as soon as possible.
